Returns, Refunds & Consumer Guarantees Policy

At YARSA Sports, we are committed to supplying high-quality cricket equipment and apparel. This policy outlines your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our change-of-mind returns process.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the ACL.
1. Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure; and
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If the failure is minor, we reserve the right to choose to repair the item within a reasonable time instead of offering a replacement or refund.
When You Are Not Entitled to a Remedy Under ACL
You are not entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under consumer guarantees if:
- You changed your mind;
- You found the item cheaper elsewhere;
- You no longer want or need the item;
- The issue was caused by misuse, improper use, neglect, abnormal use, or failure to follow care instructions;
- You were aware of the fault before purchase;
- The product has deteriorated due to fair wear and tear;
- You requested a service (such as bat preparation) to be performed in a way against our advice.
However, your ACL rights still apply to any separate undisclosed defect.
2. Faulty or Defective Products
We aim to provide cricket products of the highest standard.
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item at:

To assist with assessment, we may require:
- Clear images of the defect or damage;
- A description of the issue;
- Proof of purchase.
Additional information may be requested to help assess your claim.
Assessment & Outcome
If the product is confirmed to have:
Minor Fault
We may:
- Repair the product; or
- Replace the product; or
- Offer a refund (at our discretion, where appropriate).
Major Fault
You may choose to:
- Receive a replacement; or
- Receive a refund to your original payment method.
If the product is found:
- Not faulty;
- Outside warranty;
- Damaged due to misuse or abnormal use;
We will contact you to confirm whether you would like the product returned at your cost or disposed of.
What Is Not Considered a Fault
It does not constitute a defect if, in our reasonable opinion, the product has become of unacceptable quality due to:
- Fair wear and tear;
- Misuse or abnormal use;
- Failure to follow manufacturer’s instructions;
- Improper bat care (including over-oiling, improper knocking-in, or use against inappropriate balls);
- Failure to take reasonable care.
3. Change of Mind Returns
We recommend checking sizing charts and product specifications carefully before purchasing.
For change-of-mind returns, YARSA Sports offers:
30 days from the date of purchase
For a store credit or exchange only (subject to availability).
Refunds are not provided for change of mind.
Conditions for Change of Mind Returns
To be eligible, items must be:
- In original packaging;
- Unused, unworn, unassembled;
- In original condition;
- With all tags attached (including hygiene stickers where applicable);
- In original plastic wrapping (if applicable);
- Accompanied by proof of purchase.
All shipping costs are non-refundable.
We will not process store credits or exchanges until the returned product has been received and inspected.
YARSA Sports is not liable for returned products that are lost or damaged during transit back to us.
Exchanges
If exchanging:
- If the new item costs more, you must pay the difference.
- If the new item costs less, you will receive store credit for the difference (excluding shipping).
Bundles, Gifts & Promotions
All bundled items, bonus products, gift cards, or promotional items must be returned with the original purchase.
If not returned, their value will be deducted from your store credit.
4. Exclusions from Change of Mind Returns
We do not offer change-of-mind returns on:
- Items returned after 30 days;
- Goods not in original saleable condition;
- Sale or clearance items;
- Custom-made products;
- Engraved products;
- Cricket bats that have been:
- Knocked-in,
- Oiled,
- Match-prepared,
- Used in play;
- Compression garments, socks, abdominal guards, abdominal briefs (hygiene reasons);
- Gift cards or vouchers;
- Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) merchant fees (non-refundable);
- Shipping costs (original or return);
- Attempted delivery fees.
At our discretion, certain card transaction fees may not be refundable.
5. Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)
For purchases made using BNPL services:
- Merchant fees are non-refundable.
- You remain responsible for complying with your BNPL provider’s terms.
